The event will show how companies can make the most of their direct marketing campaigns by employing the latest technology in the Fuji Xerox Iridesse digital press.

Brenden Rolston, managing director of ActionHQ, will share what he has learned with the Iridesse and will show attendees how they can push the boundaries for printed marketing with effects, CMYK colours and other embellishments. These include metallics and white ink and the Iridesse’s CMYK – gold, silver, or white. Other features include placing images and text with white ink on dark substrate; printing oversized projects on extra-long sheets; and using a wider range of media, from synthetics to textured stocks.

The workshop takes place at the Marketing Association Building in St George’s Road in Parnell, Auckland. Tony Mitchell, from the Marketing Association, says, “We have seen a resurgence in the perceived value of print marketing within the industry as it gets brands directly into the hands of clients.

“The possibilities of print are as broad as your imagination and, because it’s now less common, each printed piece feels more meaningful and personal. We are delighted to support this opportunity for agencies and brands alike to experience Fuji Xerox’s new technology which is at the cutting edge of digital printing.”
