The first ever New Zealand Printer Power 50 voting is still open, with the polls closing on Monday October 23.

Bruce Craig, editor at New Zealand Printer says, “From what we can see so far there have been a lot of votes and the competition has been close. The Power 50 is always a great opportunity for printers to support their peers in the industry and highlight who has been the most innovative and influential for the year.”

Influence and innovation crosses various fields and disciplines. These include developing new markets; new techniques and new solutions; new working practices; introducing new technology, buying new businesses; harnessing the power of the internet; lobbying government successfully; and developing positive outcomes in print training and in print education.

The New Zealand Printer Power 50 nomination list has more than 100 people recognised as innovative or influential or both during the year. However, printers can also nominate anyone not on the list. A voter can vote for any number of people, not just one.

The voting window will close on October 23, and we will reveal the Power 50 list at a special event on Thursday December 7 at the Maritime Museum in Auckland. All nominees will receive an invitation.
