China Print 2017, the 9th Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition, will run from May 9 -13, with HP taking up the largest exhibition space.

Organisers say they will host the world’s biggest show this year, second in size only to drupa. China Print 2017 includes 1,300 exhibitors covering a total exhibition area of 160,000 square metres, attracting more than 200,000 visitors from all over the world. The HP exhibiting area of 3000sqm compares with its drupa stand where it took 6200sqm making it the biggest exhibitor at the show.

Benny Landa’s nanography technology should prove a key drawcard as well.

All the major offset and digital print vendors will attend the show including Heidelberg – which has pulled out of every show except drupa – as well as manroland, KBA, Komori, and RMGT, along with Canon, Konica Minolta, Fuji Xerox, and Ricoh.

Held at the New China International Exhibition Centre, the event =has the backing of the Printing & Printing Equipment Industries Association of China and the China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation.

Other support comes from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of PR China, State Administration of Press and Publication of PR China, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Machinery Industry Association, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association and the China National Light Industry Council.
